Frequently asked questions

How does FactCheck work?
FactCheck uses advanced AI technology to analyze content and verify claims against reliable sources. Our system cross-references information across multiple databases and provides you with an accuracy assessment.
How does WhereTo work?
WhereTo combines multiple data sources including weather, schools, crime statistics, property values, and environmental data. Our AI assistant lets you ask natural language questions about any location.
What platforms are supported?
FactCheck is available as a Chrome extension and a Safari extension, plus mobile apps for iOS and Android. WhereTo is available on iOS and Android.
How do I manage my subscription?
Open the FactCheck app or extension and tap Manage Subscription. For card (Stripe) subscriptions, this opens the secure Stripe billing portal where you can update payment, change plans, or cancel. For purchases made through Apple, manage them in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; for Google Play, in the Play Store under Subscriptions.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions purchased directly (Stripe): contact us at support@ideasquantified.com within 30 days for a full refund. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to those stores' refund processes; we're happy to help you request one.
Can I use my own API keys?
Yes! FactCheck supports Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) for advanced users. You can configure your own API keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, and Brave Search in Settings.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit, and we don't sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product, such as our AI and payment providers, as described in our Privacy Policy, which also explains your data-access and deletion rights.
